PRR Travels started functioning on the 30th of December 1994. In the beginning, they were rendering their services to individuals and other small-scale industries based in Ambattur Industrial Estate by outsourcing the entire fleet from private vehicle owners and other existing tourist car operators.

In the due course, by 2004, they added several corporate clients like TECHNIP, Ericsson, TPL, and ONGC. With this, their operational focus became corporate-centric and they became a major stakeholder in the smooth operations of these corporate houses by ensuring their manpower reaches its destinations on-time, every time.

Currently, their fleet consists of over 750 vehicles spanning cars, vans, and buses; their business operates 24 hours with staff working on shifts, with supervisory staffs and individual GM for managing operations, maintenance, and accounts.
